Blog 6: How Can Your Major/Career Make the World a Better Place

I think my career can make the world a better place because the architecture can change people´s lifestyle. If you make a house or a city in a sustainable way, people can achieve a kinder life with the planet in an explicit or implicit way. For example, when designing a house, the aim is to achieve the highest possible efficiency, which means a lower cost of light and energy in the house. In the case of cities, by achieving a good urban organization, people will use cars less and will choose to walk or ride a bicycle.

I think it could be part of the process of creating more sustainable cities and always having my values ​​first, for example not designing buildings that will affect the environment.

Every day we are more human on the planet and in order to live in a friendly way with him, a very important factor is how we live, which is directly affected by my career, architecture.
