Hi people, today i wanna talk about my favourite subject, this semester I have six subjects, (including english) and my favourite is "Cultura de la Arquitectura Clásica" this subject is about de architecture of classic times and its route and importance in the history of architecture in addition to its different characteristics. In classes the professor talk about the matter and i take notes and sometimes we have activities that take place that same day.  The content of the classes talks about how classical architecture began with the Greeks and the Romans, then how all this knowledge expanded in addition to talking about milestones and important people about it. Since I read the name of this subject I knew that I was going to like it since I would like the history of architecture a lot and I also like the aesthetics of classical architecture so it was the perfect combination. Blog 6: How Can Your Major/Career Make the World a Better Place

Imagen
I think my career can make the world a better place because the architecture can change people´s lifestyle. If you make a house or a city in a sustainable way, people can achieve a kinder life with the planet in an explicit or implicit way. For example, when designing a house, the aim is to achieve the highest possible efficiency, which means a lower cost of light and energy in the house. In the case of cities, by achieving a good urban organization, people will use cars less and will choose to walk or ride a bicycle. I think it could be part of the process of creating more sustainable cities and always having my values first, for example not designing buildings that will affect the environment. Every day we are more human on the planet and in order to live in a friendly way with him, a very important factor is how we live, which is directly affected by my career, architecture. How can your major affect the world? How can you see yourself in this process? What makes you...

This is my favourite picture, i dont remember who took this photograph. I love it because it was taken in february of 2020 so this is the last travel I had. I rememeber i was camping with my scout group and I was very nervous because when I came back from camp I was going to go to university. This memory is very precious to me since I miss my scout friends a lot and to be able to go out to camp. It was a very beautiful camp and with very good memories, we were in a beautiful place and I would love to return. Every time I see this photo, I have very nice memories of this place, also the photo was taken within the last days of the trip. This photo is very spontaneous as I did not know how to pose and I was just laughing and playing. This photo represents the happiness I had before falling into the current pandemic that is going through the world.

Blog 4: My favourite Meal

Imagen
What is it? My favourite food is sushi, is a roll of rice with variety of ingredients, is a traditional japanese food. I am a vegetarian so the ingredients can not be fish or meat. How is it made? Normally I order sushi by delivery to sushi restaurants but I also know how to prepare it. Make a rice roll with vinegar and salt. Inside the roll, the ingredients that you want and then decorated with different things. Why do you like it so much? I really like the flavor, it is fresh and tasty and it can also be eaten with chopsticks, which I find very entertaining. How does it impact your health? It depends on the ingredients that it has, it varies in its impact on my health, although some are without rice, which makes them healthier. *this time I don't have a picture of my puppy with sushi :(*

Blog 3: My favourite piece of technology.

Imagen
Hello again hahaha. This week I'm gonna talk about my favourite piece of technology, in my case, is my iPad. I bought with my work, selling cookies and some of my stuff too. This is my favourite piece of technology because it's very useful for my career, I can draw sketches, make architectural plans, have all my notebooks virtually and much more. I use it so much, all day if I may say, for university and also fun (because I dowloading COD mobile and I addicted to play). When I have some work I usually do it on my pc and I use the ipad to look for information. I think it affects my life positively and negatively, because is so useful for the univeristy but I can get distracted very easily with it. I really recommend using it because it is like a small computer where you can draw and have all your notes on it.  (my dog with her favourite piece of technology)

Blog 2: Why did you choose this career

Imagen
Hi guys! this is my blog about why I chose Architecture. When i was a little girl, I wanted to be a postman (I dont know why but it makes me laugh). After that, while I was still growing, I liked many of others careers like being a vet or studying gastronomy. In my senior year I had two options, architecture or fashion designs. Finally I decided for Architecture, because of math (I haven’t take it out of my options though ). My experience with the university is like a hate-love relationship because I have classes that I really like (English of course) but sometimes I just want to sleep but I have to do work or study. I started university in 2020, so I've never been able to go to a real class at the university. In the future, when I get my degree I would love to have a job that allows me the time I need for my hobbies and also being able to travel around the world looking for new things to inspire me.
